I went through a period of reconstructing this blog. Why? I realized there was a lot of wasted potential in just sticking to a stagnant blog format. I miss it, I do. But the best thing is always what's next, remember that.

an introduction to my Blog

I realized I haven't properly introduced myself OR this page before jumping into things. If you are reading this, I am so excited that you're here, you are in for a treat 🧁 

My name is Megan, I'm a senior in high school, and I'll be graduating next year!! I honestly can't believe that time has flown by so fast. I am also a little nervous for some odd, weird reason. Oh also I'm from California ♡

Interior Design Journal: For when you need a bedroom refresh

It's almost college dorm move-in season and time for an apartment/room update for some of you out there. And I have to remind you that one's living space is very important, so it should be as personal and unique to yourself as possible. You know those Architectural Digest videos? Yeah I love them, it's so entertaining to see all the different homes and interior designs—every home is a literal dream. I also find myself on Zillow a lot, house/apartment hunting for my future self, from LA to NY to London, I love it all. I've taken some time to play around with colors and patterns and the like... so here are some designs to inspire you. 

six movies i'd kill to watch for the first time again (in the form of snacks)

I contemplate a lot about what films I'd die for, the films that strike a part in me or awaken a sense I never knew existed. See, there are categories for the types of films I end up loving: the favorites, the ones that linger, the inspiring. What I'm about to list, all conquer a little bit of each category. They are the ones that surfaced right now, on the spot as I'm typing this. 

Oh, last thing... beyond a review of these six movies, I'm calling out to whoever reads this to watch them because if you haven't seen some or all of these, you are so so lucky to be able to watch them with fresh eyes.
